Zazen
Gallery was founded in 1997.
The
gallery represents the work of artists from coast to coast, and the
friendships
made
from exhibiting at national shows since 1983.
Artists in the American Craft tradition. They have shown at the
Smithsonian, Philadelphia Museum of Art, American Craft Museum Shows and
other leading exhibitions.
Our high standards for meticulous execution of design and quality
materials
will ensure your appreciation.

Richard Judd designs and builds many pieces from coffee tables to dining
room furniture suites. His use of hardwoods and highly figured veneers
takes advantage of the beautiful color palette of natural woods. Custom

What Zazen means to us ...
In Japan, Zazen means meditation. When an artist creates with focused
thoughts this state of mind becomes an active meditation – a timeless,
effortless process. An athlete would call it the zone. Our goal is to
exhibit
work that reflects this meditative process of the heart by
creating
and sharing these
talents with others.
Through the artists, we bring to you the beauty and unique tributes
of the human mind, heart, and hand. We hope this art and craft
perpetuate that spirit as you share and enjoy these creations. Art is
the practice of
Zazen and reflects the spirit of the maker.
